Hotel Frohsinn - Erstfeld

We found the hotel frohsinn excellent , the owners and staff were very helpful and friendly , we would recomend it to anyone.

It is always a pleasure to stay at this hotel; I have been staying there for over 20 years. It is full of character, serves good food and the owners and their pets are welcoming.

Very expensive for what you get, WiFi was not working. My room was very tired, something from the 70's theme !!!

The frohsinn is the best hotel in switzerland, but has I have stayed there many times in the last 25 years perhaps I am not the best person to give an opinion on this hotel. However, just to say that the hotel is clean, comfortable, the food great, service fantastic, and the staff by now personal friends. The location is in a nice quiet town, very near the railway station, but perhaps for some visitors the noise of the passing trains for those staying in the front rooms could be a disadvatage, but paul seems to reserve these rooms if any known railfans are staying. Once again another great visit. Thanks.

Excellent location to the railway station! The staff were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant served good simple food at a good price. The furniture and rooms were a little tired but this is more of an observation than a complaint. Overall excellent value for money.

The only thing we liked was the friendly owner.

Poor breakfast, rooms need to be refurbished. To much money for this room.

This was my last trip to this hotel,but i stay here every year.The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly,the owning family are very welcoming and i cannot fault them.The facilities are acceptable for a budget hotel.

The hotel is near to the station and if you don't like the sound of trains then beware,don't expect a large variety of breakfast as this is a budget hotel and is a bit basic for some people(but not for me).

Staff / owners were very very friendly, and very flexible about our late arrival. Rooms were clean and "fit the bill" for a quick overnight stay on our way back home

Friendly staff at reception, fairly close to mainroad to and from the Gotthardt tunnel. Room simple but pleasant and clean. Nice breakfast.

Excellent position for the Gothard railway line with friendly staff in a relaxed enviroment

Convenient for me en route from Italy to Belgium with two dogs.

The staff were very friendly and tried to help wherever possible. It is very convenient for anyone travelling by train as I was.
